Terms and Conditions are very important information for members who are willing to book trekking, expedition and travel trips with Khumbu Nangpala Trekking and Expedition Company. The Terms and Conditions contain the information to the client regarding the procedures of Booking Confirmation, Cancellation and Other Charges levied as per policy. You are suggested to read and understand it carefully before declaration of booking any packages.
We prefer to have the confirmed booking in advance prior to the arrival of the clients, pre-booking is kept on high priority.
We prefer to have voucher from the Travel/trekking Agency that has been associated with Khumbu Nangpala Trekking & Experdition.
We prefer to have 30% of the total amount after the confirmation of the booking and, the rest amount our clients can make it upon arrival in Kathmandu.
– Prior to 25 days of arrival, 25% of the contracted price.
– Prior to 14 days of arrival, 50% of the contracted price.
– Prior to 07 days of arrival, 100% of the contracted price.
– 1 pax (or the tour leader) 100% complimentary on 15 paying pax for Trekking, hotel, Flights -land transportation, package tours,
– 1 pax (or the tour leader) 50% complimentary on 10 paying pax for Trekking, hotel, air-land transportation. Except: National park fees, special permit of trek
There will be no refunds if a passenger leaves a trip for any reason whatsoever, either voluntarily or involuntarily, after it has begun. We will make no refunds for any meals, accommodation or services not used.
Good health and physical fitness is required on all trips like as tour, travel, holidays, trekking, peak climbing and expedition. We recommend a physical examination for all trekkers on extended treks.
If the domestic flight is cancelled or delayed due to poor weather condition or technical reason then we can not take responsibility, however, we will be at our best to the any alternation. If the tour is cut short or breaks in between due to natural disaster then the cost is not refundable once paid.
A notice of cancellation shall be submitted by client in written by mail with authentic reason(s), then refund procedure will be made as follows:
Cancellation rule for Trekking/hiking/tour Etc.:
-If cancellation made before 30 days of the trip departure date, 15% of the total trip cost will be charged as cancellation and rest will be adjusted in their next trip or refunded after deducting the processing charge.
-If cancellation made before 15 days of the trip departure date, 25% of the total trip cost will be charged as cancellation. Further will be same as above process.
-If Cancellation made before 07 days of the trip departure date 40% of the total trip cost will be charged as cancellation.
-If cancellation made within the week of departure or upon arrival in Kathmandu no refund shall be provided. Due payment should be made or claimed by legal process.
Cancellation rule for Peak Climbing & Expedition:

-If cancellation made before 30 days of the ticket departure date, 15% of the total face value will be charged as cancellation and rest will be adjusted in their next trip or refunded after deducting the processing charge.
-If cancellation made before 15 days of the ticket departure date, 25% of the total face value will be charged as cancellation. Further will be same as above process.
-If Cancellation made before 07 days of the trip departure date 50% of the total face value cost will be charged as cancellation.
-If cancellation made within the week of departure or upon arrival in Kathmandu no refund shall be provided. Due payment should be made or claimed by legal process.
-No refund will be made of the deposit amount in case of cancellation of trip for any other else reason.
-No refund will be made to clients who drop out from the journey regardless of whatever portions remain unused in the itinerary.
All clients must have a valid passport with at least 6 months validity from return date. As you are unable to obtain visas to Bhutan you need to send your passport details to Ace the Himalaya for visa applications for this country, we require this information at least 25 days prior to departure.
-It is a condition while booking treks and tours with us that travelers/trekkers must be protected by insurance themselves that covers cancellation, accidents, health, emergency evacuation, and loss of items, theft of or damage to baggage and personal effects.
All costs for emergency evacuation must be paid in cash in Nepal unless an insurance company has agreed to pay the costs on your behalf. It is important that any insurance policy issued to cover emergency evacuation for trek/tour does not exclude alpinism or mountaineering.

However, the entire program Bhutan are conducted strictly under the rules and regulation of theirs’ own policies.
Therefore Khumbu Nangpala Trekking & expedition and its related organization shall not be responsible for any changes in the itinerary due to unavoidable circumstance such as govt. restriction, Land slide, road blockage, flood, snow political unrest, cancellation of flight, delay, sickness or accident, Any extra cost incurring there of shall be borne by the clients on the spots.
