Short Trekking to Kalinchok


Dolakha Kalinchowk trekking is one of the least visited trails of Gaurishankar region. The temple of Kalinchowk Bhagwati is a popular destination for local people and many devote visit the area for pilgrims and group of youths to enjoy the hike and witness the magnificent beauty of nature.

Kalinchowk Trekking is a rewarding journey offering a magnificent view of several high mountains including Mt. Gaurishankar (7134m), Shisapangma (8013m), Ganesh Himal and Langtang from the very spot of the Bhagwati temple which lies on the top hill of the small settlement of Kuri.

Our short trekking to Kalinchowk provides an opportunity to locate non-touristic trail where we will enjoy our high pass at Tinsang la, distinct ethnic faces, renowned Hindu temple and the mesmerizing view of the high mountains.

Individual trekkers will not be issued trekking permit.



Day 01:Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel
Day 02:Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing and Preparation Day for Trekking
Day 03:Drive from Kathmandu to Charikot and visit Dolakha Bhimsen Temple
Day 04:Trek from Charikot to Kuri village (3700m / 12139 ft)
Day 05:Visit Kalinchowk Bhagwati Temple and trek to Tinsang La (3778m / 12395 ft)
Day 06:Trek from Tinsang La to Bigu Gompa (2516m / 8254 ft)
Day 07:Trek from Bigu Gompa to Loting (1768m / 5800 ft)
Day 08:Trek from Loting to Laduk (2050m / 6725 ft)
Day 09:Trek from Laduk to Orangdanda (1814m/ 5951 ft)
Day 10:Trek from Orangdanda to Chetchet (1377m / 4517 ft)
Day 11:Drive from Chetchet to Kathmandu
Day 12:Final Departure
