Manaslu(also known as Kutang) is one of the famous and eighth highest mountains in the Gorkha District in Nepal as well as in the world at 8,163 meters (26,781 ft) above the sea level. This region has recently been de-restricted and opened to international tourism.Located in the central Gorkha district bordering Tibet and also the renowned part of the Nepalese Himalaya’s. The meaning of this mountain comes from its name, which means “Mountain of the spirit”, originates from the Sanskrit word Manasa, implies “intellect” or “soul”. Toshio Imanishi and Gyalzen Norbu who were members of a Japanese excursion climbed first time on Manaslu on 9 May 1959. That is why some British consider that Manaslu has always been a Japanese mountain. It is one of the enthralling trekking mountains and also it is extremely rich in natural beauty and cultural heritage.It offers a variety of adventure trekking options for trekkers. We start the trek from the fascinating old city of Gorkha, the antique kingdom of the Shah Dynasty that has a mixed Buddhist and Hindu culture. On the way, tourists will get chance to visualize some breathtaking peaks they are namely, Himalchuli, Ngadi Chuli, Shringi, Langpo,andSaula,including the majestic Mt. Manaslu. Not only this, they will also see its glacial lakes, Waterfalls, Floras,and Faunas. The most interesting things about this trek are close interactions with the locals and ethnic groups living around the routes which provide a great opportunity to augments multi-cultures for tourists.

Day 12 Samdo to Larkya Phedi (4480m)
Day 13 Larkya Phedi to Bimthang (3720m) – climb the Larkya La (5100m)
Day 14 Bimthang to Tilje (2300m)
Day 15 Tilje – Chamche (1410m)
Day 16 Back to Kathmandu by bus or Jeep
