Yala Peak

Yala Peak is one of Nepal’s easier trekking peaks, just north of Kathmandu in the beautiful Langtang valley region. This 5,500 meter peak does not require mountaineering experience. This peak is very close to Tibetan border; in fact, the one of the border mountain is right next to it (connected by a ridge). You can see amazing view of Shishapangma (8,046 m) and Gangchempo (6,388 m) from the summit of Yela. Usually climbed in 2 days from Kyanjin Gompa (3900m), camping at Yala Kharka (4600m). It’s also possible to do it in one day, without camping, but it’s a long day with a pre-dawn start. The view from top includes Shishapangma, the only eight-thousander completely in Tibet.

Yala Peak Climbing(5500m) is popular trekking peak in Langtang region. Yala peak is easy and suitable for anyone with trekking experience but good physical fitness is required.ala peak climbing offers marvelous Himalayan views including the Lantang Lirung, Dorje lakpa, Ganesh Himal, Naya kanga peak, gangchempo, Shishapangma. Lantang valley trekking and yala peak climbing is one of the easy trekking route in Nepal and probably yala peak is easiest peak for climbing very closed from kathmandu. Yala Peak is a fantastic beginner’s mountaineering trip, to one of Nepal’s easier trekking peaks.
