Though Mount Kenya summit can be reached in 9 days as per the below itinerary, we strongly recommend an overnight acclimatization at the base in Nanyuki town. This can be arranged for at an extra fee.

Day 04: Arrive in Nairobi-Nanyuki
Day 05:Nanyuki-Old Moses
Day 06:Old Moses Camp- Shipton Camp
Day 07: Shipton Point -Lenana –Old Moses
Day 08: Old Moses – Nairobi
Day 09: Depart Africa to Kathmandu or destination

Leave Nairobi by public means accompanies by our mountain guide arriving Nanyuki in time for lunch.The rest of the day is spent acclimatizing.Dinner and overnight at a budget hotel.
Day 05:Nanyuki-Old Moses
After breakfast,drive to the Sirimon Gate and begin a five hour hike to the Old Moses Camp (3300m) above sea level.Overnight at the hut.
Day 06:Old Moses Camp- Shipton Camp
After breakfast, walk from Old Moses via Mackinder’s valley to Shipton hut (4200m). Dinner and Overnight at the Camp.
Day 07: Shipton Point -Lenana –Old Moses
Wake early in the morning 2:30am ready to hike to Point Lenana 4985m, On a clear day you should be able to see Mt.Kilimanjaro in the South.Mt.Elgon to the West and Indian Ocean to the East.After point Lenana descend to Shipton for main breakfast and soon after to Old Moses Camp for Dinner and Overnight stay.
Day 08: Old Moses – Nairobi
After breakfast transfer from Old Moses to catch transport to Nairobi Where the tour ends
