Mt. Kanchanjunga main deserves world’s 3rd highest peak in the world. It rises to 8586m. above the sea level &lies in far eastern part of Nepal. Mr. George Christopher Band of UK scled Mt. Kanchenjunga 1st time on May 25, 1955 via South West Face. Kanchenjungha is located on the border of Nepal and India (Sikkim), south-east of Nepal, northwest of Darjeeling. Mostly, two/three days of drive from Kathmandu to Taplejung.

Kanchenjunga is the third-tallest mountain in the world after Mt. Everest and Mt. K2. Kangchenjunga is also called Sewalungma in local Limbu language and considered sacred in Kirant religion.
