Lobuche peak climbing is one of the popular trekking peak climbings in Nepal. The peak is an attractive summit and offers various routes for climbing. The normal route for climbing Lobuche is through South Ridge. Lobuche consists of two different summits, Lobuche East (6,119mt.) and Lobuche West (6,145mt.) are popularly known as ‘Lhauche’ among the Locals.Although they are associated by a continuous ridge, there is a sharp gap and a much distance between two peaks.
Lobuche East peak climbing offers various existing as well as new and challenging climbing routes to all the amateur climbers and explorers. Climbing to the southern base camp at an altitude of 5500 meter unfolds the stunning views of Ama Dablam, Tawache and many more after an acclimatization trek to Kala Pathar and Everest Base Camp. Climb beneath the main glaciers from the Lobuche base camp to gain access to the ridge overlooking Lobuche and Khumbu glacier are breathtaking. Mt. Lobuche climb is certainly a bit more challenging than another popular climb to Island Peak. However, the magnificently panoramic views from the Lobuche summit prove the attempt worth undertaking. Not only the gorgeous Mt. Everest, you will also be able to see many mountains of the Rongbuk side of the Tibet, even those which are not visible from Island Peak. Besides, the mountains we also visit villages and monasteries to marvel at how human resolve can surpass even the harshest of environment.
